Wow! So much to say about this piece. It was purchased at an auction at the San Fransisco Opera house in the late 70s, early 80s. This is one of the largest pieces of art that has passed through our store and it measures 19 Feet wide and 15 ft. high. It was rolled up in a large tubs stamped "Peter max" and on the backside, it offers a piece of tape marked "Peter max". We dont see any futher signatures and cannot say anything further about the piece. While it is listed we may have it authenticated but at this time we are unsure of exact origins. Due to the size, we expect it was used in a large gallery, arena or concert venue. The piece shows details very similar to other of Max' pieces including color, style and subject matter all match many other works. We will update this listing as we gain information but it is available as is at the moment. This piece is extremely large and will require a large building with high ceilings to hang. This piece was meant to hang in an arena or large open area. Please see all photos to ensure you know what you are buying. We include FREE SHIPPING in the listing price. Some exceptions apply, so please read the full shipping details below. If you have any questions, we are happy to try our best to answer your questions.
