Designed by Hans Wegner in 1954, the GE 258 day bed is a versatile piece of furniture. The upholstered backrest lifts to provide a roomy bed. The daybed comes with a built in canvas sheet that can be pulled out. Crafted in solid oak wood, this bench was hand built at Getama’s factory in Gedsted, Denmark. Piece was recently imported directly from Denmark in our most recent container. These classic danish pieces never last long. Plays well in nnearly any space and is extremely functional. Condition report: Good condition. Structurally sound. Fabric has one small stain. The piece was professionally cleaned throughout. The wood frame has some edge and corner wears. No major loss of any kind. All components work as intended. 8/10 condition rating.
