Extremely well constructed and handsome set of 6 solid teak dining chairs designed by Johannes Andersen for Uldum Mobler. Each chair offers masterfully done joinery through the backrest, all of which is 100% solid teak wood construction. Each rounded solid teak backrest is staved at the ends. Each cushion slides into the design cutout within the teak leg design. Truly amazing and innovative styling. Each chair is stamped with the uldum signature as well as the Danish control mark, typically marking the item for high quality and approval of the danish government. Each chair offers a thin black cushion. These chairs were designed for looks but are comfortable to boot. Rare design alert! these wont come up often so dont miss your chance. Condition report: Near mint condition. Structurally sound. Black cushions show little to no wear to be seen. Truly outstanding condition for the age. one chair retains the maker sticker while the others carry burn marks to the bottom of the chair. All of the chairs are in the same near perfect condition. Wow! An amazing example of a rare design. 9.9/10 condition rating!
