Unique handmade bird bath by Margaret Hudson, A california Pottery master who is known for her whimsical clay birds and animals. This is by far the largest piece I've seen by this ceramic artist. Unfortunately one of the wings of one of the birds has been broken and is missing. Otherwise this piece is immaculate and compliments work by David Cressey and Stan bitters and offers a similar style and medium. Great for the Mid century modern garden or front yard. Condition report: Good condition throughout. One damaged ceramic bird on the top of the birdbath. Structurally sound. Signature legible at the bottom of the base. 8/10 condition rating.
