This pair of armchairs model LC1 by Le Curbusier is reproduced by Cassina in Italy, in the 1980s. Great condition and style. Slightly worn in leather seen throughout. unsigned example. Some exceptions apply, so please read the full shipping details below. The LC1 chair was designed in the late 1920s by celebrated architects Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand. It was designed to reimagine the potential of industrial materials to create forward-thinking objects for the modern home. The LC1 chair is characterized by its minimalist form and is made from polished stainless steel tubing and leather. It has a movable backrest and steel springs behind the seat and backrest for added comfort.
Condition report: Time capsule condition. These piece were purchased at retail originally for a law office in San Fransisco. It was rarely used and taken by the 2nd owner when the office shut down. Barely used. unsigned examples. Straps intact. Leather is near mint with no holes and minimal wear. 9/10 condition rating.
