Description
The coffee table PK61 is almost as elementary and minimalistic as it gets from the hand of Poul Kjaerholm. Despite the extreme distillation of the structure into a set of identical elements, the square and aesthetic design has the power of a manifesto and shows Kjaerholm's development from industrial designer to furniture architect. The four base elements are joined with machine screws that lend the table part of its unique look. The removable tabletop demonstrates Kjaerholm's recurring principle of using gravity to keep the elements in place. The base is satin-brushed stainless steel.
This is high quality vintage reproduction with heavy duty crystal glass top. No marks or stamps within the piece but very well made and heavy duty. Condition report: Very good condition. No major wear to the steel frame and the glass is in near perfect condition with one small chip area in the glass isolated to one corner edge. Structurally solid. All risers glides intact beneath glass. Unmarked example. 8/10 condition rating.

Free shipping applies only within the contiguous U.S. only except for East coast which is 100$ flat rate. Orders shipping overseas, including Hawaii and Alaska, as well as any U.S.-based islands or addresses requiring a ferry, do not qualify for free shipping.
