The Beocord 8000 releasing in 1980 replaced Beocord 5000. Of equal importance was the fact that time, through Beocord 8000, came to the cassette deck. Bang & Olufsen used it to measure tape consumption. The body is designed with a metal face and a rosewood veneer paneling on the front and sides of the piece. This piece powers on but is sold for parts and no further testing has been done.
Condition report: 8.5/10 physical condition. Dust cover intact with Operating instructions legible. This item turns on and is sold for parts. May need some work or repair. Veneer shows some ware but the color is still vibrant.
