Wondering what 50s danish design looks like? Here is a great example. This Monumental 1950s Danish modern 2 tier credenza has is all and is covered in highly figured teak. The piece is so large that they needed to add 6 teak tapered legs for it to be structurally sound. We obtained this in denmark and beleive it to be a one odff design or extremely low production piece by a local danish craftsman from the time period. Many of these craftsman were never well known but produced incredibly well made and unique pieces that led to the 60s era designs. If you require a good place for your personal items, this is it. Almost every section has a lock on it and can ensure your items are safe. The center area offers a bar section behind 2 locking doors. Beneath the bar there is a sliding glass display area along with small drawers on either side. That means the piece has a total of 12 drawers total. Wow! Condition report: No damage to be seen or note. Very clean time capsule condition. Original glass behind the bar is intact. All doors lock as intended. The top section fits snugly into the bottom section via brackets. Original glass intact. Structurally sound. 9.5/10 condition rating.
