Rare and unusual freestanding headboard designed by unknown danish desginer. this large headboard will accommodate up to a California King Size mattress in between the floating nightstands / side tables. Even more unique, the piece offers overhead lamps that turn on by pulling a switch. The light is hidden behind the teak construction. Very well built piece. These pieces are rarely seen in this size and cal kind danish headboards tend to be in low supply. No makers mark included. Item came from a bay area estate and was kept in immaculate shape. This item will require generic metal rails for a mattress. The headboard is the only item included in this purchase. Please see all photos to ensure you know what you are buying.

Condition report: Very good condition. reading Light works as intended on both sides. Drawers open as intended. Structurally sound, very sturdy. No major change in the wood color or finish. The original color and finish look great and there was no need to restore this piece. Wow, what a fine example. 9.5/10 condition rating.
