A rare sculptural Lounge chair set Model #168 designed by Grete Jalk For France & Son, circa 1960s. The solid teak frames are beautifully sculpted and are covered in purple wool blend fabric. This set has great lines and is very comfortable and offers generous solid teak armrests! Fully marked with the France & Son disc and marks by John Stuart, A high end american importer. These tend to be harder to obtain and they sell quickly. We reupholstered this piece in a black Maharam metric over the original spring loaded cushions. This set is made in extremely high quality and was constructed at the top of the danish market in the 1960s. Plays well in almost any space or home.
