One of our favorite early modern California design. This is an early production piece with the old Beverly Hills label, circa 1940s. It was later manufactured in the 1950s by Brown & Saltman in mahogany. Made of Ebonized solid birch wood (no press-board) and brass hardware. A nice timeless California design that can be converted into a coffee table or dining table via the hinged legs. Whichever way you use it, the legs can be locked into place. We obtained the table from a late family member of Van Keppel. It was originally painted fully black. Please see all photos to ensure you know what you are buying. Condition report: Very good condition after restoration with little to no wear. Table lifts and lowers with each. Structurally sound. Stamped beneath with original foil tag. All original hardware intact. 9/10 condition rating.
