A Fantastic set of 1960's vintage Dorothy Thorpe Silver Band roly poly glasses, bowls, champagne flutes, a pitcher and a candy bowl. These thirty-five Mad Men style glasses and items have thick, sterling silver bands around the lip. Heavy thick mouth blown glass with rounded and slightly indented bottoms, which makes it hard to tip them over. The silver is slightly worn with only the most minor imperfections. The glasses hold 10 ounces when filled to the brim. No chips or cracks in the glass. These are a quintessential Midcentury Modern design, straight out of Don Draper's office. Items will be shipped in multiple boxes after packing very well.
