Outstanding and rare MB Design / Martin Borenstein Platform sofa. This nearly one of a kind piece was purchased directly from the "American home furnishings" in 1967. The original tag beneath notes this as the "Leader" model sofa designed by the american designer Martin Borenstein. This also offers a sculpted solid walnut frame that sits on 2 casters. The main sofa section comes in the original green fabric called "Woodmoss". No damage to note and the piece was nearly unused by the original owners. This piece can be floated in the center of a room as it is finished on all sides. Comes with matching coffee table that can be included. Please see all photos to ensure you know what you are buying. Condition report: Near mint condition. Wood tables have been covered in glass since purchase. The sofa was rarely used and is in near perfect shape. One owner set. New straps have been installed.
