Very rare set here! Sacramento, CA made ESS AMT 1B Walnut Floorstanding Speakers. we restored the walnut frames to ensure these were looking good for the next 20-30 years. Although the photos show the original woofers, the surrounds have been replaced by our professional tech. This unprecedented loudspeaker introduced the revolutionary ESS Heil air-motion transformer to high fidelity sound reproduction and achieved immediate acclaim world-wide as the major advance in loudspeaker design of the decade. By using the ESS Heil air-motion transformer for mid and high frequency reproduction, the AMT 1 broke free of past technological theory to achieve a transparency, uncompressed stereo imaging and dynamic transient impact beyond any previous high fidelity experience. Condition report: Fantastic condition overall for the age. restored walnut cabinets. Original grills intact but shows wear throughout and had a repair or two. Although the photos show the originals, the foam surrounds have been replaced. A few small scratches but wood otherwise shows very little wear. some edgewear. original medallions intact. One owner set. Tested and working well other than whats noted above. 8.5/10 condition rating.
