For sale is a McIntosh C32 stereo preamplifier-a legendary control center that combines classic McIntosh styling with versatile, audiophile-grade performance. Built from 1977 to 1984, the C32 features a warm, musical sound signature, 5-band EQ, multiple phono and line-level inputs, and two tape loops-making it a dream for both vinyl lovers and analog enthusiasts. With its glass faceplate, green-illuminated lettering, and iconic backlit VU meters, it's as stunning to look at as it is to listen to. Known for its tank-like build and rock-solid reliability, the C32 brings vintage charm with serious flexibility, including independent zone control and a built-in headphone amp.
This unit was purchased by a man who kept and maintained it over the years, including regular bench testing. He kept all original paperwork. Comes with the cabinet brackets that allow this to slide into a custom unit or cabinet. Although the unit appears to work, we are selling it as is and for parts.
Although it turns on and produces sound at the time of purchase, we can offer no promises about how it will work in the future due to its age.
