Great looking B&O 5000 system or Beosystem. This sytem powers on but was not tested further. It came from the original owner who did have it serviced at some point as noted on the back of a few components. Unique and well constructed piece. The record player unit is not included. This set does not appear to be tampered with other than the servicing that took place somewhere in the past. We include FREE SHIPPING in the listing price. Some exceptions apply, so please read the full shipping details below. Beosystem 5000 was the first series of components from Bang and Olufsen in many years which returned to a 'box' design. The original units in the system were the Beomaster 5000, Beocord 5000, Beogram 5000 (Record Deck) – (and later in production the Beogram 5005 Record Deck), a two-way remote control unit unique to the 5000 system – the Master Control Panel 5000, a one-way hand-held remote control and a wide selection of Beolink® possibilities which could allow the 5000 to be operated from any room in a home, office or building. Beogram CD50 was later added to the System for playing compact discs. Included items: 1- Master control panel 5000 1- Beomaster 5000 1-Beocord 5000 1- Beogram Cd 50 3 manuals and one large brochure.
Condition report: Overall good physical condition. The master control unit has some scratches and breaks in the digital screen. CD player does not eject but powers on. Receiver powers on. Tape deck powers on. No further testing has been done. Set was serviced at some point as the sticker from the shop is present. Original paperwork intact. The Record player is not included in this set. 7/10 condition rating.
