For sale is the legendary Yamaha PX-2 linear tracking direct-drive turntable-a true cult classic and one of the finest expressions of precision Japanese engineering from the early '80s. This high-end deck features a servo-controlled linear tonearm that mimics the way records are cut, reducing tracking error and inner groove distortion to virtually nothing. With quartz-locked speed control, touch-sensitive controls, and rock-solid build quality, the PX-2 offers both audiophile performance and futuristic design. Its massive plinth, brushed aluminum accents, and stealthy linear arm carriage make it as much a visual statement as a sonic one. Great looking unit. It powers up and spins / lights up. The tonearm needs to be repaired. It does move but stops at certain points. Unique and well constructed piece. Sold as is and for parts with no guarentee of any kind. Original paperwork / manual included.
Note: Comes with Karat 23R Cartridge that appears to be in good shape.
