Unique and well made Teak and Oak Danish modern desk designed by Poul Volther. It is rare to see his desk designs and we take pleasure in having this example in our store. This piece comes with 8 drawers, 2 top ones are locking. Each drawer has the signature Angular Volther solid teak handle design. The front side is open for book storage or as a display. the piece can be floated in the center of a room as the entire piece is finished. To increase the structure, the frame is made of oak, while the main surfaces are made of teak. Mid to late 1950s Volther Design. Please see all photos to ensure you know what you are buying. Condition report: restored condition. Top surface and sides have been restored. The remaining sections of the piece are in fantastic original condition. Drawers work as intended. All Solid teak handles are intact. Structurally sound throughout. A few minor veneer repairs on one side. one area of top surface wear. 8.5/10 condition rating.
