There is a secondary teak shelf for magazines or reading material beneath connected to the legs via brass hardware. Truly well made and shows the typical Danish construction. Free shipping applies only within the contiguous U.S. only except for East coast which is 100$ flat rate. Orders shipping overseas, including Hawaii and Alaska, as well as any U.S.-based islands or addresses requiring a ferry, do not qualify for free shipping. These shipments are location-dependent and billed at cost.
