Here is a unique mid-century design by Laurel Lamp MFG Co. that doesn't come by very often – a smoke tone Lucite cube housing a hand-blown, Sweden-made frosted glass globe shade. This stylish lamp offers interesting angles, gives off beautiful, soft, ambient / mood light and will make a great mod-style, sculptural lighting accent on your credenza, console, end table, or nightstand. The acrylic cube has small feet to elevate it from the table surface. Takes one medium-base, compact-size light bulb; works and looks great with a 4" tall compact CFL bulb (light bulb not included). Please make sure that the overall height of the bulb is no more than 4"-4 1/4" in order to leave enough room for the shade to be mounted – it goes on by slowly pivoting the opening of the shade onto the bulb.Please see all photos to ensure you know what you are buying. Condition report: Very good condition. Works as intended. one or two hairline cracks in the acrylic but hard to see unless you are close up. Glass fully intact. A fine example. 9/10 condition rating
